KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 8 — The Women, Family, and Community Development Ministry (KPWKM) advised parents and guardians to ensure their children are enrolled in registered childcare centres (taska) under the Social Welfare Department (JKM) to prevent incidents of negligence, abandonment, and abuse.

SEREMBAN, April 23 — The public, especially abuse and neglect victims, including children, are advised against sharing videos about it on social media to be used as content, but instead report them directly to the authorities or the Talian Kasih hotline at 15999.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 — The Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development (KPWKM), via the Social Welfare Department (JKM), has handled a total of 2,959 cases of child abuse, involving physical, sexual, and emotional abuse between January and May this year.

MUAR, Nov 8 — The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry (KPWKM) has received a total of 1,929 complaints on domestic violence (KRT) since the movement control order (MCO) was implemented on March 18 this year.

PUTRAJAYA, March 26 — The 24/7 Talian Kasih 15999 and WhatsApp Talian Kasih 019-261 5999 now includes mental health support to deal with the effects of Covid-19 and the movement control order (MCO) which has been extended to April 14.
